Miriam Hofer
Miriam Hofer is a university assistant (Post Doc) in the research area of Univ.-Prof.in Dr.in Maria Bertel at the Department of Public Law and Political Science at the University of Graz. Her research focusses on climate, energy and environmental law. She wrote her dissertation on "The state's responsibility for environmental and climate protection". She also researches and publishes on issues of Austrian and European fundamental rights protection as well as constitutional and administrative law. Miriam Hofer is currently also a project leader at the University of Graz as part of the Horizon Europe project CarbonNeutralLNG, in which new technologies for green natural gas alternatives are being researched and related legal issues, in particular concerning the ecological use of biomass and questions of legal authorisation procedures for LNG terminals, are being investigated.
