Raphael Trkmic

Raphael Trkmic has been a university assistant at the Department of Public Law and Political Science since 2022. In the research team of Prof. Christoph Bezemek, he researches and teaches in the area of constitutional and administrative law. His main focus is on the interface between administrative, constitutional and criminal law. Specifically, he deals with the penal system and the basic legal framework for the connection of the penal system with the public, again in particular against the background of the ECHR. During his previous training, he gained experience in the legal profession as well as in the media industry. In this way, he combines his practical experience with his university research project. Inter- and intradisciplinarity as well as lessons from practice are thus interwoven in his work.
