During his law studies, he was not only a student representative at the ÖH, but also spent time abroad at the University of Örebro in Sweden and as a volunteer at the Foreign Trade Centre of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok/Thailand, in addition to numerous internships at courts and several law firms.
