Johannes Steiner
Johannes M. Steiner has been a university assistant at the Department of Public Law and Political Science at the University of Graz since October 2024. His research focuses on Austrian constitutional law, in particular in connection with security and geopolitical issues. He analyses how security-related decisions are made within the framework of Austrian constitutional law and the impact of European and international integration on these processes. He combines constitutional law analyses with political science approaches in order to better understand Austria's role in the security architecture of the EU. Previously, he gained valuable experience of the importance of regional interests at EU level as a trainee in the liaison office of the state of Carinthia in Brussels.
